Friday Funday: What's Your Personality?

You made it to Friday!  Isn't that a specular feeling?

Now, let's take a quiz.

Don't worry, it's not a knowledge-based quiz.  I predict you will have fun taking it, and that the results will be even more enjoyable to receive.  I will even go so far as to say that this one is worth your time and effort!  Read this:

Compelling, yes?  I have never been one to take quizzes in magazines or online, but one in particular hit the nail on the head regarding my personality type.  It is called the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test, created by Isabel Briggs Myers.  It discovers details regarding four areas of your personality:

Energy: Extraversion versus Introversion

Information: Sensing versus Intuition

Decision-Making: Thinking versus Feeling

Dealing with the World: Judging versus Perceiving

Take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test here.  Your results show a combination of the aforementioned types, explaining how you perceive the world, understand life, and react to circumstances surrounding you!

Briggs Myers cites Romans 12:4-6, in regards to using the indicator test: "For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith..."

  1. ENFJ! :-) By 1%... lol What did you get?

I would be willing to bet that mine varies a little day to day though. This is my energetic, got enough sleep, good mood personality. ;-)

    1. ISFJ! Wow! Wake up call! I didn't realize I was an introvert, but maybe I am. The score surprised me after answering the questions quickly, with my first instinct. I agree that we probably change daily, adapting to people, our circumstances, surroundings, etc. but it is a very interesting test.

  2. I'm an ENFJ! a "slightly expressed extravert"...which makes total sense because I adore social events--but in the next breath, I'm totally ready for some alone time. My emotional contribution doesn't surprise me either--something that isn't always a good factor! Loving hearing from you ladies!

  3. I'm an ISTJ, which doesn't really surprise me, except that the "T" is only by 1%! The one question that really surprised me was "You value justice higher than mercy." Really made me stop and think.

Also, Kristen, I've been following for a while (and just not commenting), and wanted to say thanks. You truly have a gift and a ministry with this blog, and it's made me stop and think more times than I can count. Keep it up!

    1. Emily, Your comment brought tears to my eyes! God used you on Friday in such an intentional way to touch my heart and encourage my spirit. Thank you for saying what you did. And thanks for commenting! I just LOVE hearing from you, as that was always the purpose of the blog. I hope it's clearer now that the mission statement is published, as well as a description of the blog's purpose!

I praise God for all of you ladies who take the time to read, comment, and ponder in your hearts the Word each day. To treasure up all He would place on Your heart will draw you near to Himself!
